- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education
- High school graduate or equivalent. Superficial knowledge of
the reasons for patient care as administered in the agency, some
knowledge of physiology, anatomy, neurology, and medical
terminology is desirable and would be helpful, but not necessary.
Skills and proficiency in oral and written grammar, communication,
and basic mathematics.
- Experience
- Ability to problem-solve, pay attention to details and plan
effectively. Effective oral and written communication skills. Basic
computer skills to include being able to type 35 wpm with 98%
accuracy.
- Physical
- This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St.
Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information.
- Requires physical strength to perform the essential functions
of the job. Must be able to work required schedule. Frequent
sitting, stooping, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling up
to 8 pounds a distance of 2 feet frequently. Carrying up to 10
pounds a distance of 80 feet frequently. Lifting up to 10 pounds
from floor to shoulder occasionally, and lifting up to 5 pounds
overhead occasionally. Fine hand manipulation, bilaterally
continuously. Visual acuity corrected to 20/20.
- JOB SUMMARY
- Under the general and direct supervision of the Dept./facility
Supervisor, the Secretary will provide clerical, secretarial and
receptionist support for the Dept./facility, independently and with
minimum supervision. Performs other diverse duties as requested or
required.
