In this role, you will play a vital part in protecting the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of patient health records while supporting clinical and administrative teams. Ensure records are complete, organized, and compliant with regulatory standards. Process requests for medical records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Verify patient information and documentation for accuracy. Assist with record audits and chart deficiency tracking. Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient health information. Support providers and departments with timely chart access and documentation needs. Prepare records for long-term storage or destruction per retention policy. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: Previous experience in medical records, health information management, or a healthcare setting preferred. Experience with EMR systems preferred.
