About This Role: In this role, you will perform mechanical maintenance functions related to plant facilities and equipment. You will use a variety of hand and power tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, gauges, test equipment, welding tools, and more. You will work under verbal, written, or demonstrated instructions, depending on your experience level and the frequency of new product introductions. Direction and supervision will typically come from an assigned Supervisor, but you may also receive guidance from a Lead person based on the Supervisor's instructions. Key Responsibilities: /n - Install, test, trouble shoot, maintain, repair, overhaul, etc., any type of machine, fabricating machine, processing equipment or facility. /n - Check equipment and notify Supervisor of situations requiring corrective action. /n - Use specified safety equipment and practices. /n - Assist less qualified maintenance personnel with maintenance procedures. /n - Complete and return check sheets to Supervisor as required. /n - Keep equipment and working areas clean and in good order. /n - Keep accurate and legible records. /n /n Required Qualifications: /n - High School Diploma or GED /n - 1 years of experience in industrial or military maintenance with a trade school certificate OR 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance /n /n Preferred Qualifications: /n - Excellent verbal and written communication skills /n - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills /n - Strong organizational skills /n - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy /n /n LI-On-Site RSRCAR Carrier is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
