Job Description:

Maintenance Technician Job Summary : Startup/shut down plant machinery each day. Perform safe operation of the boiler and all boiler room equipment. Perform water and boiler tests. Respond to maintenance calls in a timely manner. Inspect, diagnose, repair, and test machinery. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, and gears on machinery. Clear machine jams. Wax machine blades. Clear lint from the machines. Check machines for air, water, and oil leaks. Change Chemical drums and AC filters. Monitor PH system. Log parts used for reordering. Customize equipment for laundry processes to improve efficiency, ergonomics, safety, and malfunctions. Work with vendors to repair or install new equipment. Work with safety department to identify safety hazards and find resolutions. Perform lock out/tagout and other safety procedures. Maintain chemical room. Job Duties Include: Meet established productivity standards Utilize CMMS system to log all work and perform preventative maintenance Have a general knowledge of electrical systems Have a good understanding of computer-based programming (PLC) Be able to work individually or assist other team members in troubleshooting and repairs Must be able to operate scissors lift, boom lift, and forklift safely Follow all company safety rules Be able to work well with a diverse workforce Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and/or supervisor Follow all company policies and procedures Possess and maintain a positive attitude Keep work area and the company premises safe, clean and organized Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit Report all major issues to Chief Engineer and Production Manager. Assist with resolution. Establish and maintain positive working relationship between building maintenance crew and production team. Follow all company safety rules Be able to work well with a diverse workforce Follow all company policies and procedures Possess and maintain a positive attitude Required Skills: Must have a Boiler License for Tennessee Must be able to work 5am shift Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day Minimum of 3 years experience with production maintenance Sufficient manual dexterity to work on equipment Must be able to lift and move up to 50lb Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling Desired Skills : Class 1 Boiler License for TN 5am-130pm plus OT (Must be able to work past the schedule as production issues may arise) Monday-Friday $25/hr-$32/hr hourly DOE Memphis, TN 38108 Please send resumes to eliteolivebranch@elitestaffinginc.com All employees of Elite Staffing must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
