Job Description Job Description Homer Skelton Ford in Olive Branch is has immediate openings for General Service Technicians! While experience is always welcomed, training is available for the right person. We are a family owned dealership for many decades in the Mid South. This is a position for someone who wants to advance their knowledge and begin a career path to become a certified technician. We will place a path ahead of you that will lead to joining our main shop team of technicians. Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Requirements High school diploma or equivalent At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance Fast, eager learner and team player Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service skills Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Clean driving record & valid driver’s license Benefits Medical Dental Life Insurance Disability, Vision, Accident and Critical Illness available 5 day work week Closed on Sundays Flat rate if desired Paid Vacation Paid Training We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
