Job Description Job Description CNC Machinist and Programmer $35 - $43/hr | Crawfordsville, IN Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist and Programmer to join our team. You will be responsible for programming CNC mill machines, setting up and operating CNC mills, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring the production of precision parts. This role requires expertise in Inventor or Mastercam and the ability to troubleshoot using G and M codes. Responsibilities Program CNC mill (VF2 Haas) machines using Inventor or Mastercam. Interpret CAD models from SolidWorks. Set up and operate CNC mills to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Utilize G and M codes for machine programming and troubleshooting. Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Maintain machines and ensure optimal performance and accuracy. Essential Skills 3 years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Inventor or Mastercam for programming. Experience with 3 axis CNC machines. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of high-performance engine components, Aerospace, and/or automotive manufacturing. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our facility houses around 250 employees locally and maintains a clean environment, though it can get hot at times. This position operates on the 1st shift, from 7am to 3:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Crawfordsville, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $89440.00/yr.
