General Summary:

The Brand Manager is responsible for driving lead generation initiatives by assisting in the strategy development and overseeing execution of marketing programs end-to-end in support of the company's overall business marketing strategy. The Brand Manager is key in developing strategic relationships within the communities assigned. This would include media, customer and community relations.

Essential Job Functions:

Sales and Lead Generation
Directly manage the development and execution of business services marketing programs that drive sales, lead generation, lead development and customer adoption within a specified budget;
Responsible for the creation of all business services lead generation marketing campaigns, advertising vendor management, creation of sales collateral and management of advertising budget, including but not limited to, mass media, print, direct mail, website, social media, digital media and video;
Manages vendor relationships and production implementation specifically related to lead development and customer adoption;
Works with business unit personnel to provide product, pricing and advertising support, as well as direct participation in lead generation as appropriate;
Works with appropriate team to assist in the implementation of proactive retention, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities with existing customer contacts/touch points;
Identifies and executes integrated sales and marketing communications programs with effective messaging and positioning.
Content Creation and Execution
Translates marketing strategy and company culture initiatives into compelling design and copy;
Uses engaging language while creating clear, concise, accurate and relevant copy;
Responsible for ensuring that pricing, product and contact information are kept up to date on the website;
Proofreads and edits marketing materials;
Understands the different ways in which targeted audiences consume information so as to apply the appropriate technique to maximize results;
Assists with social media efforts;
Helps to create, maintain, and enforce corporate style guide and voice & tone standards;
Ensures brand standards are consistent and maintained across all channels.
Media/Community Relations Coordination
Cultivates and assist in managing relationships with local chambers and city officials;
Coordinates donations and sponsorships by assigned territory;
Coordinates presence at local events and expos;
Travels to customer sites, project areas, business related events, and other Ritter Communications locations as required;
All other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, HTML experience;
Marketing Automation experience a plus;
Good understanding of email marketing, social media, PPC, SEO, Google Analytics and website updates using a CRM system;
Ad agency and brand management experience a plus;
Excellent communication skills and writing capabilities;
Knowledge of telecom industry/operations, technology, and equipment;
Knowledge of company products and services;
Skill in operating personal computer and various software programs including Microsoft Office;
Skill in the use of presentation, word processing and spreadsheet software;
Skill in oral and written communication;
Skill in public speaking;
Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner;
Requires excellent organizational and time-management skills, including ability to effectively plan and prioritize assignments in an interdependent environment;
Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand;
Ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail with little direction;
Ability to foster a team environment and sustain employee morale;
Ability to travel to system-wide locations to perform job accountabilities as needed;
Ability to flourish as part of a team;
Ability to be adaptive, flexible and able to shift strategies on short notice as environment dictates;
Ability to travel for business requirements; must possess a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
Education and Experience:

Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Graphic Design or related field and 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
