This position is also responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic vision of the factory in areas of manufacturing reliability. The Sr. Factory Engineering Manager is a key member of the factory management team.ResponsibilitiesDefine, propose and monitor the implementation of the Factory Engineering teams plans and objectives in accordance with the Engineering Policy, Key Principles and the Key Engineering Activities as outlined in the Nestl-- Engineering Excellence (NEE) master documentPropose and implement work processes, procedures and technical resources related to Factory EngineeringLead and coordinate the Factory Engineering team and maintain competencies, motivation and performance to achieve the teams mission and objectives.Propose and control the Factory Engineering budget as well as the factory's capital investment plans and related capital expendituresPlanning and managing all approved capital projectsPropose and monitor Factory Engineering in accordance with the key performance indicatorsDemonstrate and promote the company's values within the Factory Engineering teamContributing toward the Strategic and Tactical Leadership of the factory and division as a wholeEnsure implementation of Asset Maintenance Management as Factory Maintenance SystemTechnical Stores ManagementWork Order Management and Labor Hour allocationEquipment Bill of Material (BOM)Drive the implementation of Maintenance Best PracticesOptimize Predictive Maintenance technologies (Condition Monitoring and inspections) to minimize unplanned downtimeUtilise Planned Downtime for Scheduled and Condition-Based MaintenanceInitiate and coordinate the implementation of new processes/technologies with local, market, PTC, CTU and SBU engineeringRequirements (BA/BS) in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, Process or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years related work experienceIn-depth knowledge of food processing plant and technologyMaintenance technologiesOperation of utilitiesKnowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety and hygienic engineering (OSH&R)Understanding of financial analysis and relevant business driversAsset and Maintenance Management (AMM)CAPEX budgeting and preparation (CIAT)Industrial Services and Energy Management (NEMT)Heat exchanger systems & Ammonia knowledgeAble to apply root cause problem solving and technical creativity to systemically resolve complex short term and long term issues and opportunitiesAbility to perform under pressure and in ambiguous situationsStrong organization and multi-tasking skills - ability to balance and prioritize several projects simultaneously198459It is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.To our veterans and separated service members, you're at the forefront of our minds as we recruit top talent to join Nestl--.
