GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The President has delegated oversight of the strategic planning activities to the Chief Development Officer. Final approval of the strategic vision of Hytrol rests with its Board of Directors. The President is directly responsible to the Board to develop and submit a comprehensive plan of intermediate and long term goals. This position is responsible for the oversight of the day to day execution of this strategic plan. Included with this task is active participation with the development of the plan and the liaison between the various departments in the achievement of the plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist the leadership team with the development of the strategic plan. This duty is performed daily. 2. Maintain the strategic vision and plan documentation. This duty is performed daily. 3. Conduct organizational reviews to identify strengths, weaknesses and assess strategic issues. Reviews include, but are not limited to, quarterly reports to the Board and an annual strategic summit. This duty is performed as needed. 4. Formulate feasible recommendations to the leadership team and facilitate strategic discussion. This duty is performed monthly. 5. Facilitate the development of business plans that support solutions for strategic issues. This duty is performed as needed. 6. Monitor and facilitate progress of strategic initiatives. This duty is performed daily. 7. Collect and evaluate market analysis and monitor and report on industry trends. This duty is performed daily. 8. Provide education and tools to the leadership team to enable them to fulfill their strategic planning responsibilities. This duty is performed as needed. 9. Engage in ongoing dialogue with the Chief Development Officer with regards to factors involving strategic planning, execution and analysis. This duty is performed daily. 10. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Four year college degree in Business, Finance or related field, Masters preferred, plus 5 or more years of experience in strategic planning and business development. Requires the ability to influence key stakeholders and operational owners through well-articulated strategies backed up with metric driven value statements.
