JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Following the record-breaking success of A Greater Penn State for
21st Century Excellence-the University's recently concluded $2.2
billion fundraising campaign, the Prospect Management and Analytics
(PMA) team seeks to fill the role of Prospect Management Specialist
who is responsible for supporting the prospect management data
needs of Penn State's various fundraising units.
The position will be responsible for managing a portfolio of
internal relationships to provide strategic, timely, and ethically
driven data analysis and information to assist in achieving the
Division's collective goals. The successful candidate will:
Essential qualifications include:
TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of
related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and
experience. The successful candidate will have a proven track
record of success working both independently and collaboratively
across functional areas. Demonstrated experience working in complex
development and prospect management teams is preferred.
Additional Preferred experience and skills:
Experience with data visualization, reporting tools, and
proficiency in querying large datasets is preferred, as is the
ability to adapt to changing technology and embrace learning new
skills as the team transitions to a new enterprise-wide constituent
relationship management system. A passion for higher education and
an appreciation for and ability to work with diverse audiences and
communities is required.
