Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:Med Surg - Discipline:RN - Start Date:07/14/2025 - Duration:13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, days - Employment Type:Travel Job title: Registered Nurse (RN)- Medical Surgical Location: Memphis, TN 38104 Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $2,909.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $1,488.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,421.00 Per Week Job Duties Direct Patient Care Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with medical-surgical conditions including: CHF, AKI/CKD, hyper/hypoglycemia, post-op Ortho, GI, Bariatric, and general Med-Surg patients Perform accurate and timely assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes Medication Administration Administer medications, including IV medications and titrate heparin as ordered Monitor for side effects and therapeutic effects; document in the EMR Patient Monitoring Continuously monitor vital signs, fluid balance, and overall clinical status Recognize changes in patient condition and notify the appropriate medical personnel promptly IV and Line Management Start and maintain IV lines, manage central lines if required (no drips for unstable patients on this unit) Experience:Minimum 2 years of recent RN/Med-Surg experience required Prior travel assignment required Level I Trauma Center experience required Licensure: Active RN license (compact or TN) Certifications: BLS (Required) ACLS (Preferred) NIHSS (Required) Travelers must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as aService-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified byNaVOBAand theU.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
