Hospitalist Schedule: 12-hour shifts with call from home (216
shifts per year) Job Description: Seeking a
Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join a growing
Pediatric Hospitalist team in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The position is
based at a 438-bed medical center that serves 23 counties in
Northeast Arkansas. The facility includes an 18-bed pediatric unit,
a 19-bed Level IIIA NICU, and a dedicated labor and delivery unit
with approximately 1,900 deliveries per year. Team Support: Daytime
nurse practitioner for newborns Dedicated lactation team Family
medicine residents for pediatric patient care Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient care to hospitalized pediatric patients and
newborns Serve as a consultant for the UAMS NE Family Medicine
Residency program Provide consultative services to local community
hospitals, emergency departments, and clinics Assist emergency
department physicians with admissions and emergencies when in-house
Demonstrate leadership in safety and quality initiatives
Participate in teaching and academic responsibilities involving
