In this role, you will be responsible for capturing clear and accurate medical imaging used for the diagnosis and treatment of disease. This position requires proficiency in radiologic technology and the ability to work compassionately with elderly patients. Adjust and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it operates at the optimal level without compromising safety. Protect patients by adhering to safety policies and protocols; shield exposed areas that do not require radiation. Document and store the acquired images according to regulatory requirements and clinic policies. Assist radiologists during the more complex radiographic examinations. Regularly inspect equipment for compliance and safety, report significant and minor malfunctions to maintenance. Discuss procedures and process with patients, ensuring comprehension and comfort levels. Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment Strong understanding of radiation safety measures and protocols Excellent patient management skills Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images Effective communication skills for patient interactions and collaboration with other healthcare professionals Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
