Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 36 hours per week in Medical Surgical Ortho unit • Team nursing ratios (discuss with manager during interview) • On-call shifts as needed • Weekend shifts as needed • Must have minimum 2 years of nursing experience (3 years preferred) • Ortho experience required • Level I Trauma experience required • Travel experience required • Large hospital experience required • At least 1 completed previous travel assignment required • Active RN license in state or compact license required • ADN acceptable (BSN not required for this position) • Cerner experience preferred • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) • May be floated between like units and campuses within 20 miles • Must be willing to work 2 of 3 holidays if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall during assignment • All time-off requests must be included at time of submission • Must live at least 100 miles from facility Facility: This healthcare facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level I Trauma Center that provides comprehensive emergency and specialized medical services.
