ER RN Job Details - Location: Germantown, TN 38138 – Experience Tennessee healthcare jobs in a welcoming community with top-rated schools, excellent amenities, and easy access to Memphis for dining, culture, and entertainment. - Assignment Type: Travel nursing job - Setting: Emergency Room, Level I Trauma Center - Start Date: April 6, 2026 - End Date: July 6, 2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - Shifts: 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) per week - Hours per Week: 36 - On-Call: As needed - Weekend Requirement: As needed (weekend block may be considered or discussed during interview) Compensation - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1860-$1960/week Emergency Room Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state (must comply with NLC guidelines) - Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (3 years preferred) - At least 1 completed previous travel nurse assignment required - Level I Trauma Center experience required - Large hospital experience preferred - Valid driver’s license required - Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) - Cerner charting experience preferred - Must reside at least 100 miles from facility (strict for travel nurses) - All requested time off (RTO) must be included at time of submission - Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays if assignment overlaps with Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s ER RN Responsibilities - Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting - Respond rapidly and effectively to trauma and critical care situations - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes - Accurately document patient care using Cerner (preferred) - Float between similar units and campuses within 20 miles as needed - Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and compliance standards Germantown, TN, offers safe neighborhoods, beautiful parks, and vibrant community life.
