Job Description Pediatrician (4-Day Work Week) Location: Viera, Florida About Pediatrics in Brevard Pediatrics in Brevard is a dedicated, community-focused practice in Viera, Florida, committed to providing exceptional care for children and adolescents. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient primary pediatric care to patients ranging from birth to age 21. Educate new parents on essential standards of care for newborns and infants to support a healthy start. Perform clinical procedures, including circumcisions, cryotherapy for warts, and minor I&D of abscesses; a willingness to learn these procedures is required if not already proficient. Manage behavioral health needs, including ADHD management and general mental health treatment and care. Participate in a rotation of newborn and new parent education classes when required. Maintain a 4-day work week schedule, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while delivering high-quality patient care. Qualifications Board certified or board eligible (if within two years of residency) in Pediatrics. Active Florida medical license or the ability to obtain one. Strong clinical skills paired with a genuine passion for pediatric medicine. Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, as this is a highly integrated and cooperative practice environment.
