Job Description:

**1 Year minimum recent acute care/hospital setting travel experience required in a like facility. * Please note the bill rate for this assignment is $65.00 * All Candidates submitted must have a permanent address of 120 miles or more from the facility. *Please include primary source verification (NURSYS) as well as providers email address and contact phone number with submission. * Will be assigned to our progressive care/stepdown unit. Currently this unit has 22 beds. Standard nurse to patient ratio is 4:1, but can flex to 5. * St Bernards is a Level 3 Trauma Center * Provider support include IV Team, PT, OT, RT, Social Services, Medical Response Team formerly Rapid Response, Clinical Experts, and others. Floor staff also includes Unit Secretaries and CNAs. * We do not accept flu shot declinations. *St Bernards is both a nicotine and smoke free facility. *Required certifications: BLS and ACLS. PCCU certified RNs are preferred, but not required. * This assignment is a 36 hour/week assignment, either 7a-7p or 7p-7a. We are looking for candidates who are open to shift and willing to work every other weekend and holidays. Schedule hours will be determined by nursing manager at the time of offer. *JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assessing, analyzing, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients on a daily basis. Under the general supervision of the Director, Patient Care Facilitator/Manager, and Registered Nurse In Charge. This is a safety sensitive position.
