Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Must have at least 2 years of recent Operating Room experience with travel, or 3 years of recent Operating Room experience without travel. Some transplant experience preferred. License: Must have a valid RN license from the state or a compact license at the time of submission. Certifications: Current certifications must be included in the submission. Must-Have: Traveler must live at least 100 miles from the facility. RTO (request time off) must be submitted in the application packet. Traveler must be willing to work at least 1 of the 2 holidays if the assignment overlaps with Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Description: The position requires that candidates be prepared for on-call responsibilities, to be discussed during the interview. Block scheduling is not guaranteed, so please inform candidates if that is a deal breaker for them. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 or more years of experience for all specialties, with 3 years being preferable. Previous travel assignments are required, with at least one completed. Cerner experience is preferred. Floating between like units may occur within 20 miles of the facility, though floating between campuses is rare. Candidates should indicate the best time to contact them clearly. Vaccination status must be included in the submission. If certifications are set to expire during the assignment, a clear plan to renew must be outlined.
