Prep Cook Great Western Dining Service at East Arkansas Community College is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Prep Cook/Cashier to join our team. This dual role involves providing excellent customer service at the cash register while also assisting in food preparation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering a positive dining experience. Responsibilities: Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash accurately Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in a cashier or food preparation role is preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of food safety practices Team player with a positive attitude Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified individuals.
