Overview
Job Title: Technical Support Specialist
Department: IT
Reports To: Director of Information Technology
General Description Provides software, system, and minor hardware
technical assistance, support, and training to partners.
Essential Job Functions include the following, other activities may
be assigned:
Job Duties must perform the following duties in order to achieve
essential job functions, other duties may be assigned:
Answer email and telephone support questions related to the
following applications or hardware: Epicor BisTrack, Microsoft
Office/Open Office, client side email, client side printer, credit
card processing, CAD software.
Help develop and maintain training materials for Epicor BisTrack
and other software roll-outs .
Assist Director of IT with BisTrack maintenance and other projects
as assigned.
Process partner change events and supplier invoices.
Help support internet connections.
Web development, Crystal Reports, and SQL skills are a plus.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or
3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or
governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively
present information and respond to questions from groups of
managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and
interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
knowledge of Database software; Inventory software; Internet
Software; Spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel); Word Processing
software; and Basic understanding of LAN client/server
networks.
