Support) Location: Memphis, TN Start Date: ASAP Job Overview: We
are seeking a highly motivated IT Specialist (Event Support) with a
strong technical background and excellent communication skills.
This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys working
in a dynamic environment, supporting both onsite and virtual
corporate events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
coordinating, setting up, and troubleshooting technology needs for
various events, ensuring seamless execution. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary IT support resource for corporate events,
handling both onsite and virtual technology needs. Set up,
configure, and troubleshoot IT hardware, software, and network
connectivity. Collaborate with event teams, vendors, and staff at
all levels to ensure smooth execution of technology-related event
logistics. Schedule and coordinate event IT needs, including
internet setup, phone configurations, and equipment management.
Provide real-time troubleshooting and issue resolution during
events. Maintain thorough documentation and follow best practices
for IT event support. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong
communication and customer service skills – ability to interact
professionally with staff at all levels. Highly organized and
detail-oriented – able to document and manage multiple event setups
effectively. Hands-on IT experience – comfortable with hardware
setup, network troubleshooting, and supporting various event
technologies. Knowledge of Windows & Mac operating systems –
familiarity with Apple iOS and mobile device support. Experience
working with IT ticketing systems (such as JIRA) and collaboration
tools (such as Confluence) is a plus. Ability to travel – may
require up to 50% travel to support events in various locations.
Flexibility to work outside normal business hours, including
evenings and weekends, as needed. Preferred (Bonus) Skills:
Familiarity with Cisco Meraki network solutions. Experience working
in corporate events or understanding event logistics. Knowledge of
streaming technologies and devices such as Google Chromecast. Ideal
