Multi Site Area Manager

Job Description:

The Area Manager will oversee janitorial services at multiple locations throughout the Jonesboro area. In this role you will travel to accounts daily to perform inspections, train employees, monitor employee performance, and more. Working hours will vary, but are primarily afternoon/night. Bilingual is strongly preferred.
Compensation: $37,000 - $45,000 depending on experience

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for the delivery of services at multiple accounts in an assigned geographical area of operation.
    • Makes personnel decisions including selection, assignment and retention.
    • Supervises the training and performance of personnel ensuring they possess adequate knowledge and understanding of company rules, security procedures, and client specifications.
    • Makes job assignments for employees. Inspects quality of job performed and reports results to Operations Manager. Makes company supervision aware of problems at job sites or within work groups.
    • Develop work schedules for all positions in assigned accounts.
    • Regularly schedules, performs, and logs the results of TSC inspections.
    • Ensure that all assigned accounts are properly stocked with supplies. Submit supply order requests as needed.
    • Performs inspections of assigned equipment to ensure that all equipment is in good working order. Submit equipment repair requests as needed.
    • Perform corrective or remedial duties as necessary. Perform duties of workers supervised when needed.
    • Monitor daily employee activities to ensure that workers are completing work within defined budgets.
    • Monitors employee times via company time keeping software and ensures accurate employee punches.
    • Assists any employee with their duties to ensure they stay on schedule when required.
    • Performs other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.Qualifications and Requirements:
      • Bilingual is preferred
      • Must have own, reliable transportation
      • Must be able to travel daily. Frequent travel is required in order to visit accounts and supervise employees.
      • Previous experience with managing/supervising several employees
      • Must have a flexible schedule and availability to work days, evenings, and weekends when needed.
      • Must be well groomed and have great customer services skills.
      • Must have knowledge of and experience in matters relating to the efficient and profitable running of janitorial accounts.
      • Must be well organized and able to prioritize assignments.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
