Job Description:

Our manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join our team near Prairie View, TX. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance department, managing maintenance personnel, and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently and effectively.Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and manage a team of 6-7 FT maintenance personnelDevelop and implement maintenance procedures and schedulesReport directly to the Plant ManagerCoordinate and oversee maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgradesManage spare parts inventory and maintenance suppliesEnsure compliance with safety and environmental regulationsDevelop and manage departmental budgetsMonitor and analyze equipment performance and downtime to identify areas for improvementCollaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and minimize downtimeProvide technical support to maintenance personnel as neededParticipate in the recruitment, selection, and training of maintenance personnel affected by change.Understands business implications of decisions; demonstrates knowledge of company financial measures; aligns work with strategic goals.Supports organization's goals and values; Supports affirmative action and respects diversity, promotes quality and safe work habits.Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products in accordance to company quality and budget specifications.Requirements:2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor within a manufacturing environmentOpen to working 1st shift (Monday - Friday)Strong technical skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsKnowledge of PLC'sExperience with maintenance scheduling and planning softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills
